Itanagar: A three-day adventure tourism celebration would be held by the Arunachal Pradesh government at the pleasant Mechuka valley to push tourism in the Himalayan state.


The celebration to be held between November 7 to November 9 in the valley prominently known as the ‘Place where there is Medicinal Ice Water’ would be the second one, state tourism secretary Joram Beda told newsmen here today.


It would be sorted out by the state tourism office as a team with the Union tourism service.


“The state government has pronounced the celebration as a schedule occasion of the state alongside four others – Tawang Festival, Siang River Festival, Pangsau Pass Winter Festival and Ziro Festival of Music,” he said.


Beda said tourism was the main method for supportable advancement of the state and the state’s potential in this appreciation could be termed as ‘undiscovered gold mine’.


Boss Minister Nabam Tuki would initiate the celebration on November 7 and Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju would elegance the end function on November 9. The executive from the Union tourism service would likewise take part in the occasion.
