PANAJI: The Goa tourism office here said that it is interested in tie up with Bollywood movies that are shot in Goa, so as to target NRI vacationers.
State tourism chief Amey Abhyankar said that activities to tie up with movies portraying magnificence of Goa can bring about the expanded footfalls of the Nris.
“Nris are substantial groups outside nation and our movies have extensive fan after there. We may be shocked to see substantial number of Nris coming in the wake of viewing Goa in the movies,” Abhyankar, told PTI on Saturday.
Goa tourism office has tied up with most recent Bollywood arrival of Deepika Padakone, Arjun Kapoor starrer ‘Finding Fanny’.
The film, which is in both Hindi and English, has a potential universal group of onlookers and Goa has been broadly showcased in it.
“Movies without a doubt have overflow on tourism. State has single window framework to make film shootings more advantageous. We will be interested in such wanders in not so distant future,” Abhyankar included.
He said the film has investigated ranges which sightseers may not have seen amid their visit to Goa.
“You get to see sights of distinctive parts of Goa (in the film). These are spots which an individual who has been here before power not have seen,” he said.
