Egypt: Tourism, Aviation Ministries Cooperate to Support Tourism

Civil Aviation Minister Hossam Kamal said on Tuesday 13/5/2014 that his ministry and the Ministry of Tourism set plans of cooperation to increase activity of travel business.


The minister made the remarks on the sidelines of a conference at the ministry.


The ministry provides LE 80 million in support to the tourism industry through discounts and exemptions for airplanes in the tourist destinations.


Asked about the open skies policy, the minister underlined its effect on Cairo International Airport, saying all airports in Egypt were open for all international airlines.


In 2025, EgyptAir fleet would include 127 airplanes, the minister said.
