The South Pacific Tourism Organization will host its first South Pacific Tourism Exchange in Auckland, New Zealand next week.
The expo will bring together international buyers or wholesalers and the Pacific product suppliers such as hotels, reports, tour operators, rental car companies and airline partners in one location to connect and build business relationships.
SPTO CEO Ilisoni Vuidreketi said there were 50 buyers (companies) and 66 individuals. “The focus of SPTE 2014 has been on targeting more long haul markets (buyers and wholesalers) to participate at the event, primarily, Europe and UK, the Americas (including Canada) and China,” he said.
He said countries participating in the expo included New Zealand, Australia, Germany, US and Belgium.
